Highest-Paying Survey Sites

19 Highest-Paying Survey Sites [Online Surveys That Pay Cash]

Are you looking for an easy low-effort way to earn extra cash on the side? If so, then take a look at the list below of the highest-paying survey sites.

When starting out, I recommend sticking to KashKick, Inbox Dollars, or SurveyJunkie. They’re some of the most popular and well-known.

These online surveys pay cash and other rewards in exchange for you taking a survey or doing other fast tasks. While doing surveys won’t make you rich or replace your full-time income, they’re a good way to make extra money in your downtime between classes or while waiting in line somewhere.

Most of these legitimate survey sites can be done in 10 minutes or less. Even better is that you can join more than one for maximum earnings. There’s no limit on the number of surveys you can do.

Legitimate Paid Online Surveys To Make Free Money

Before joining, read through each survey site’s description to decide if it’s the right fit for you. Some of them even have a sign-up bonus!

My Picks

Don’t have time to read and just want to know the best online survey sites to earn the most money? Here is the most up-to-date list of my top choices.

1. Survey Junkie

Survey Junkie is one of the most popular online survey sites and with good reason. They have over 10 million members and make it easy to earn cash online.

For every survey you take you earn points that can be redeemed for either PayPal cash or e-giftcards from favorite brands like Amazon and Target.

Survey Junkie is completely free to join and has a cashout minimum of $10. This is far lower than many other sites where your earnings are held in limbo for months. Don’t worry, they’re completely legit and have paid out thousands of dollars to their members.

You can choose to get your money as a gift card or cash. For the cash option, you can choose from a mailed check or PayPal deposit. Talk about getting free money mailed to you!

Still not sure? Read my full Survey Junkie review here.

2. KashKick

KashKick is a survey site where you get paid to do various tasks (GPT). The tasks are easy and include surveys, watching videos, browsing online, or other small tasks.

Unlike other survey sites, KashKick pays you in dollars instead of points. The tasks you take on are completely up to you and it’ll let you know how much you’ll earn before you take on the task.

KashKick is only open to the USA and their cashout level is the lowest I’ve seen (this is a good thing). This means that you can get your money by PayPal or check with as little as $5 earned. Sign up here.

3. Inbox Dollars

Inbox Dollars has been around a while and is a favorite of many for earning fast, easy money online. This is another site that pays you in cash instead of points.

Some of the activities available for earning money include surveys, watching videos, browsing new websites, and even playing online games.

Inbox Dollars has some of the highest-paying surveys and even offers a $5 bonus when you sign up here.

If you’re sick of constantly taking surveys, then Inbox Dollars is for you. Their wide range of money-earning tasks breaks up the monotony and keeps things fun.

Due to their age and credibility in the industry, many large brands like Walmart, Target, and Netflix use them for market research.

You can earn money straight from your phone, tablet, or computer for complete mobility. If you want a tried and true survey site to make money, then sign up for your $5 instant bonus here.

4. Survey Voices

Survey Voices is a little different than the other survey sites on this list because it’s a survey aggregator. This means that they don’t have surveys themselves but instead, promote other survey sites.

So if you’re having a hard time finding survey sites you’d like to join, then Survey Voices is a good option. They’ll let you know about a variety of survey sites.

Just remember that while they are legit, they don’t pay you themselves. If they tell you about a survey site and you sign up, you’ll instead be paid by the site that’s actually giving you surveys.

For instance, if Survey Voices tells you about Inbox Dollars and you complete a survey there, you won’t be paid by Survey Voices. Instead, you’ll be paid by Inbox Dollars and will be subject to all of the payout thresholds each survey site has.

5. Opinion Outpost

Opinion Outpost is a very well-known and high paying survey site. Their typical survey clients are government agencies, public bodies, and businesses so you may get some slightly different surveys than on most other sites.

Opinion Outpost has a low threshold to cash out your earnings which makes it great for someone who wants to make a little extra cash right away.

After you sign up, you’ll have to answer questions about yourself so that they can send you the most pertinent surveys. This keeps you from wasting your time with surveys you don’t qualify for.

For earnings, every 10 points equals $1. Each survey earns you between 10-30 points. As soon as you reach 100 points, you can withdraw $10.

Seeing as each survey takes around 10 minutes, you can make $10 taking surveys for an hour and a half per day. While this isn’t a great hourly rate, you’re not at a traditional job.

By using your downtime to take surveys in 10-minute bursts, you’re monetizing the time that you’d’ve wasted mindlessly browsing the internet.

6. MyPoints

MyPoints has been around for many years and has a user-friendly layout. On the signup page, they say that they’ll pay you $5 when you take 5 surveys.

The clean layout makes it easy to get right to the surveys and not get distracted with cluttered navigation. Another positive is that they have a mobile app to take surveys on the go.

With MyPoints, you can earn by taking surveys, watching online videos, playing games, shopping through certain retailers, reading promotional emails, using the MyPoints search engine, and more.

If you’re looking for a way to earn easy money that isn’t only surveys, MyPoints is an excellent choice.

7. Swagbucks

Swagbucks is one of the oldest survey sites and is also one of the highest-paying. On occasion, some surveys let you earn $50 just for completing.

Even better is that all new members get a $5 bonus for signing up. This is a nice boost right at the beginning to help keep you motivated.

Since Swagbucks is well established, they’ve perfected their process and now include many other ways to earn money. Some of these include browsing websites, watching videos, and shopping online.

You have two options for getting your money: PayPal or gift cards. It’s up for you to decide which you’d prefer. The gift cards are from large brands and Swagbucks has paid out over $36 million to its members.

8. Branded Surveys

Branded Surveys are available for those in the United States, the UK, and Canada. Every survey you take earns points that you can later trade in for rewards.

To date, Branded Surveys has paid out over $15 million to its members and has over 2 million members total. They even include a tracker on their homepage showing the current payout amount.

Like other survey sites, you take a survey and earn points. Once you’ve earned enough, you can can trade them in for either a cash PayPay transfer or a variety of gift cards.

After you sign up, you’ll create your profile. Then surveys will be emailed to you if you’re likely to qualify. Each email will mention the estimated length of time the survey should take.

There are ways to earn extra points daily as well. Special offers and daily polls will be listed in your dashboard after you sign in.

9. Surveys2Cash

Surveys2Cash is probably a survey site you haven’t heard much about despite the fact that they’ve been around for close to 10 years.

While they initially started out with both free and paid memberships, they’ve now converted completely over to free memberships for all members. Surveys2Cash is geared towards gathering data from the United States in the form of surveys.

Brands hire them to get their surveys out to people who fit their customers. You, as the survey taker, get compensated for your information and insight.

You can get paid in the form of PayPal deposits or gift cards. They do have a higher redemption threshold of $50 which is higher than many other survey sites.

Surveys2Cash does have other earnable tasks besides surveys though. These include paid for search, product testers, downloading and using apps, sweepstakes, and instant cash giveaways.

So while you have to earn more before you can cash out your free money, it’s worth giving Surveys2Cash a try due to the other ways you can earn.

10. MindsPay / Panda Research

MindsPay is also known as Panda Research. They pay you for earned surveys only using PayPal. Payments go out on the 1st and 15th of the month automatically.

They say they have high-paying surveys of up to $50 each. Some members report that those are far between but do show up occasionally. You can also earn money by reading promotional emails.

Another thing to note is that some people have had trouble with payouts taking a long time. Completed surveys were held up for a few months before the money was able to get paid.

So while Panda Research does have high-paying surveys, the trouble with payments may make you decide to go with a different survey site.

11. iSurveyWorld

iSurveyWorld is a survey site with a crisp, clean layout making it easy to find surveys. It’s basic, no-frills website allows you to take surveys and earn money without being distracted.

Another plus is that you earn dollars for every survey you take and not points or virtual currencies that you must redeem for rewards.

Surveys are the only way to earn money with this site. The minimum amount to cash out is a little higher and the surveys are limited so it may take slightly longer to cash out than other sites.

12. Pinecone Research

Pinecone Research is a long-trusted brand in the survey world. They’re operated by the Nielson which is headquartered in New York.

They do aim to gather international data so you aren’t limited to only the United States. Pinecone Research tests tons of emerging products and concepts. They pay $3 per product survey.

Pinecone Research is highly selective and won’t take everyone. Don’t get discouraged if you’re declined. It just means you’re not the demographic they’re looking for right now. You can always try again later.

13. Vindale Research

Vindale Research is one of the better-paying websites on this list and occasionally pays $50 per survey. I consider them one of the best survey sites due to the large number of surveys that they have.

Along the same line, one of people’s biggest complaints is how many emails you get sent to your inbox alerting you that a survey is available. Unfortunately, this can’t really be turned down so if lots of emails bother you, then perhaps choose a different survey site.

You can earn money by taking surveys, of course, but Vindale Research also pays you for Reward Mail. These are paid promotional email messages that they’ll give you cash for opening and viewing. To opt-in for this, make sure that Reward Mail is checked in your email preferences tab.

To get paid, your options are PayPal or a paper check mailed to your home.

14. SurveyTime

SurveyTime touts short surveys that instantly pay $1. After you sign up, complete your profile so that you only get notified about relevant surveys.

Once the survey has been completed, you get your payment immediately. There’s no waiting around for weeks for the surveys to get verified for payment.

All surveys are paid the same and typically take 10-15 minutes to complete. This means you’ll earn between $4-$6 per hour of taking surveys.

While I don’t recommend doing surveys for hours on end, taking 2 or 3 surveys every day will end up paying between $60-$90 every month.

Everyone has two 10 minute blocks where they’re messing around on their phone. Put that time to use making money instead.

If you’re really short on time and are looking for a platform to take quick surveys, SurveyTime may be a good option.

15. RewardSurvey

RewardSurvey pays people using a variety of rewards instead of cash. You can choose from magazine subscriptions and other gifts instead.

While magazines are nice, pay attention to whether you’re getting signed up for automatic renewals. It doesn’t make sense to have your rewards cost you money.

One perk is that new members get a $30 instant reward.

16. Survey Rewardz

Survey Rewardz is a completely free to use survey site. They have low minimum thresholds to reach in order to be paid which makes them suitable for the casual survey taker.

Once you log in an create your profile, you’ll be taken to a dashboard showing you the available surveys. Next to each survey will show you how much you’ll earn per survey.

Survey Rewardz pays you in cash instead of rewards points. They pay you by paper check, PayPal, Payza, Visa gift card, or Amazon gift card. One perk is that there is only a $1 minimum for getting paid via PayPal. The other options have a $5 minimum.

There have been a few complaints that money has taken longer than expected to be paid out after the transfer request was made. The company’s website states that the average processing time for payouts is 1 week.

17. OhMyDosh! (UK)

OhMyDosh! is a newer app for making money online in the UK. This one is currently only available in the United Kingdom so you’ll have to skip this one if you live elsewhere.

It isn’t only surveys though. You can earn money choosing from a variety of different offers including surveys, free trials, product sampling, cashback online shopping, and so much more.

As soon as you reach 10 pounds you can cash out.

18. Tolula Surveys

Toluna Surveys is a great option for those in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. They are one of the largest survey sites and have surveys from many large brands.

This is a great option if you’re looking for an alternative to Inbox Dollars or some of the other popular survey sites.

For every survey you take, you’ll earn between 2,000-50,000 points. Once you reach 80,000 points, you can redeem them for a $15 voucher. This can be paid in the form of PayPal direct deposit or high-end gift cards.

There is also a fairly low minimum for withdrawal. If you use your points for coupons, you can do so at 30,000 points. Or you could enter for a raffle drawing for rewards at 500 points.

Each survey takes around 15 minutes to complete. In addition to surveys, they now have games to play to earn additional points.

19. Inbox Pounds (UK)

Like the name suggests, Inbox Pounds is only available to people in the United Kingdom. It’s similar to Inbox Dollars but not quite the same.

With Inbox Pounds, you earn money with surveys, conducting internet searches, playing games, and product testing.

Once you reach 20 pounds you’re eligible to be paid. Unfortunately, they’re less user friendly than Inbox Dollars. For one, some people say they don’t pay as much per survey. They also only process payments one time a week.

So after you request a payment, if it happened to be the day after their payment processing day, you’ll have to wait an entire week before they’ll process your money.

On the plus side, they’ve awarded over 40 million pounds in rewards to their UK members so they are legit.

20. Mom Surveys

Mom Surveys is another survey site where you take surveys to earn points. What makes them different is that there isn’t a standardized cash out program.

Instead, with the points you earn, you enter into different giveaways. Each giveaway program has a variety of prizes ranging from $5-$500 in value.

I wouldn’t make this your main survey site because your winnings can be inconsistent. But it’s a fun option for someone who likes raffles or hopes to win a larger prize for lower points.

Their surveys are also geared towards moms, so if you fit that clientele, you shouldn’t have any trouble finding surveys to take.

Final Thoughts On The Highest-Paying Survey Sites

With everyone trying to make more money online, it can sometimes get overwhelming and hard to know which direction to turn.

If surveys are something you enjoy, then you can’t go wrong with any of the legit survey sites I listed above.

Every survey site is different so take note of whether they pay in cash or rewards before joining. You wouldn’t want to complete a bunch of surveys only to find out the payment isn’t your preferred method.

    You forgot three great ones.

Mistplay. It rewards you for playing mobile apps for which you accrue points as you pass levels. By playing several games regularly through their app I’ve made $40 in virtual gift cards since I joined Nov 23rd, 2021. Unfortunately, they only payout via gift cards but they have several to choose from. I always get the visa ones.

Then there’s Qmee. It offers a regular list of surveys that are listed by topic, time, and payout.
They usually pay between 25¢-1.80 dependent on the survey. So it’s not a huge moneymaker but it makes for nice petty cash. They payout via PayPal and there is no threshold to do so. You can have 2¢ and they will deposit it in your account. Between March 2021 and now I’ve made $75.75. They have other ways to earn as well.

And then there’s Premise. This one is different. They pay you to accomplish product information tasks. Most pay $5 a task. These tasks usually require you to go to whichever store is indicated, find the product and take pictures of it to submit. Often you’ll be doing it for price monitoring.

    This site is great!

  7. Cool article, but I have to say – I don’t really have time to take surveys all day long.

    1. Hi Tress,
Yes, I agree. Taking surveys shouldn’t be considered a full-time income that is worked on for hours daily. Instead, these suggested surveys are a great way of monetizing your downtime ten minutes at a time throughout your day.
