Some people don’t enjoy reading as much as typing. You may not be able to easily string words together to make engaging sentences. That doesn’t mean the freelance life isn’t for you.

I know many people who like to type, but not read or create, so they become online transcriptionists. It’s possible to take podcasts, audio recordings, and videos and type everything that’s said within them.

Many companies offer remote transcription jobs online, so this is an excellent side gig with a lot of earning potential. It’s possible to have a flexible schedule, but it is specialized. Upfront training is best, but you can learn as you go with a few websites.

I’m not fashionable and know very little about trends, but if you do, use it to make $1,000 a month. It’s quite easy to start this type of side hustle, and websites are out there to help.

It works for in-person shopping, too. The top three are Rakuten, Dosh, and Ibotta. With Rakuten, you get up to 14 percent cashback when shopping at partner retailers. Ibotta offers cashback when you buy groceries and shop at retail stores, which is quite helpful when you’re on a tight budget.
